If you find inappropriate websites after performing a search, click the Settings link at the top right beneath the search bar and select Search Settings.

After clicking, the Search Settings Screen will open. At the top of this screen, you should see a Safe Search on/off link. To activate it, turn on the Safe Search link. Safe Search can also be locked by selecting this option as well.
